Buggy Buddies (local parent and carer buggy walking group)

Held every Thursday, meeting at Porter's Lodge in the Lews Castle Grounds at 12.30pm. Held Spring-Autumn.

Buggy Buddies is the free weekly local buggy walking group open to parents and carers of babies and toddlers in buggies, prams or carriers.

Parents are assured that the walking group will be low impact exercise and the route will be based within the Lews Castle Grounds and be pram-friendly. Registration is taken at the beginning of each walk, with safety advice provided. For further information please contact the Health Visiting team.

Women who have recently given birth should allow a sensible period of time for recovery and seek advice from a health professional if at all in doubt before taking up any exercise program. All participants taking part in the 'Buggy Buddies' group do so at their own risk and NHS Western Isles shall not be liable for any injury that might occur as a result of their participation.
